Handy location with only 90 minutes to travel from Sydney, Cedar Creek Orchard is home to the ”Persimmon land” where you can enjoy the interesting experience of persimmon picking with your family and  friends.This orchard is well managed and procedures are in place. The way they take care of their fruit bushes is ethical as they are all natural without insecticides. There is an entrance fee of $10 for adults and $5 for kids but you need to remember to book online before you get there. You can also eat all the fresh fruits you want for free while you’re in the orchard. You will be driven down to the picking area by the truck. They have great tractor rides to each of the orchards and they inform their customers on how to pick each fruit and I love that they encourage no wastage. You’ll be dropped off by the row of trees where you can get right into picking persimmons. You have one hour to visit and personally select your persimmon fresh off the trees.
