Katoomba, NSW, Australia
Katoomba is a great destination for nature-lovers and hikers. It is 2 hours away by train from the city but the weather changes a lot up there so bringing a thick coat might be a good idea. You can always bring snacks and food because the bushwalking track won’t be short. The view there is undoubtedly spectacular with countless look-outs above the green jungle of tall trees and birds tweeting like always. There is a man-made path that leads you around the mountain but it is quite long so I would not recommend beginner hikers to attempt this track. However, those of you who are up for a challenge, you are welcome to give it a try! Additionally, for those who are asking about how much it costs to travel here, you don’t need to worry because there is no entrance fee to the national park.
